Establishing a Permanent Home

Sweeney purchased its headquarters at 812 Alderman Road, creating a permanent base of operations and investing in the company’s long-term future.

Featured on The Vanilla Ice Project

Sweeney was selected as the featured plumbing contractor on the DIY Network’s hit television series The Vanilla Ice Project. The exposure and experience gained through the project helped establish Sweeney as a recognized and trusted name in luxury custom residential plumbing throughout Northeast Florida.

Turning Challenge Into Opportunity

As the COVID-19 pandemic created uncertainty across the country, Sweeney chose growth over retreat. Rather than reducing operations, the company increased its investment in people, equipment, and service capacity. By expanding its workforce during a difficult time, Sweeney provided employment opportunities for skilled tradespeople while ensuring families and businesses continued receiving essential plumbing services when they needed them most.

Building on a proven plumbing platform, the company expanded its services and rebranded as Sweeney Plumbing & Electric, bringing the same commitment to customer service and technical excellence into the electrical trade.

Site redevelopment plans were initiated for a complete reconstruction of the company’s headquarters and operations facility. This investment positions Sweeney to better support its growing team, expanding customer base, and long-term commitment to serving Northeast Florida.
